This was done by a student in one of my advanced classes. She’s pretty cool. It’s interesting to me when I meet kids who are a little different. Kids who are into music, books, guitar, and rock, and not Boy Bands, cell phones and the colour pink. I even made her some CD’s of some sweet music, and she’s liking it.
In related news, Kurt, the guitarist in a Korean hardcore metal band that opened for us once at Club Psycho, is living in Daegu now, too. He’s going to give me a heads up on some little rock shows in Daegu. There are two main venues I hear. Live in D, and Club Heavy. I’m real excited to see what kind of bands, and what kind of shows these Koreans will put together.
