So, as you may or may not know, I’ve started a new hobby of DJing. Mind you, the only venue that is taking me yet is my own bedroom. I don’t have decks, or other virtual tactile surface to control my tracks, since I’m just a rookie, and I’m not scratching. Just mixing.

I’m using software right now connected to an External sound card connected to a NUMARK DXM06 Mixer. Right now switching around between Traktor and VirtualDJ, but I got a brilliant idea of turning this $22 USB Mouse/Numpad Combo device into my not-so-tactile-but-it-will-do control surface. I had memorized all the keys I had mapped, but decided to give it a little paint job, and customized button labels. It looks ghetto awesome. I’m hoping to paint the body GOLD.
