Ankles Will Roll

So, I guess I’m going to stop playing basketball. I keep hurting myself. 2 months ago I rolled my right ankle. It wasn’t so bad. This past Thursday I rolled my left ankle. It looks much worse than it feels.

Actually, at first, it felt horrible. Went to the hospital, got some x-rays. There are no broken bones. But after 2 days, man. Check out this bruising.

July Update

Happy Belated Canada Day.

I haven’t been posting much lately, for a few reasons. One, being I haven’t been taking many pictures. But, I did get a new lens which I intend to test out this week. And two, I’ve been working on a Website Contract and my first major deadline was last night, and so most of my computer time has been coding.

I’m pretty stoked for the coming weeks for a number of reasons.

The Boreung Mud Festival is next and should be a good time. Last year was great, partly because it was also on a long weekend. This weekend is only 1 night, but should still be good.

Craig is coming back! I won’t lie. Being in this city has made felt kind of lonely at times. Not when I’m at home, because I love my home alone time. I just miss some of my friends, especially my old Gumi buddies. So, it’ll be nice to have Craig around again.

Having Craig back also means the band is back, which leads me too….

I’ve secured a sweet jamspace. I’ve met a new friend named 석준 (Suk-June). I originally intended to play drums for’em, but decided that they need more guitar help. So when Craig gets back, we’ll both be helping out in this guy’s band. We’ll also be using his jam space which is in the basement of a commercial building, and is awesome. I can’t wait to help decorate.

I’ve got a vacation from August 1st - August 5th. Maybe I’ll go to Bali.

Here’s a photo of two members of X-Project. They were the house live act at Ariana’s in Daegu, a German style brewery and restaurant. They’ve left for the home country. Commune is a lot quieter on Wednesday’s now. Hopefully I can bring back the noise.
