Chilgok, Daegu
My boss told me that Chilgok, the area I live in used to be it’s own town before Daegu took it over. Now it’s just an area in Daegu. Weird thing about Daegu is that it’s the capital of the province, Gyungsanbukdo, but it is not really part of it. Most of the large cities in Korea are kind of like, city-states, and their governments report directly to the Federal government, and not through the provincial government.
