Hey J, I tried HDR, with 7 different exposure, my computer almost died HDRing those files. They were only JPEGs too. It took good 40 minutes to do, because i clicked *align* button, which was stupid, cause i shot all of them on a tripod anyways. The result was interesting, but not too impressive because i didn:t have a great variation b/w sky and land. The point is, i need a mighty desktop and not my laptop to HDR things... yes this was long..
