New Camera

I had 20 minutes before I had to board my flight back to Korea. I saw this really nifty looking camera, but as soon as the pretty salesgirl came over, I had to leave. I knew I’d be tempted.

I’ve been thinking about buying a camera for 6 months now. I really wanted manual functionality, but couldn’t justify buying a DSLR. I also wanted the video capabilities of a point and shoot.

Then Angelo walked over and started looking at the camera I was looking at. “Fuck” I thought. Now I’m sucked in. After the very knowledgeable salesgirl answered every single tough question we asked, I bought it.

The Samsung NV7
. 7x optical zoom, 7.2 megapixels.

I love the way it looks, I love the wonderful interface. No more *clickclickclickclickclick* to change the aperture. Just slide your finger across touch sensitive buttons.

Here are the first pictures I took with it:

Yes, Samsung Rep was awesome and clever…

Imagine J and I running down the hallway to board our flight because we spent so much time looking at the camera. Well, it didn’t quite happen like that, but it was 20 minutes b4 take off!
