Yesterday was the most beautiful day so far this year.

The sun was shining, it was nice comfortable 19 degrees, which meant no more gloves or winter coat on the scooter.  Headed down to the soccer field to watch the Waegook Soccer team play in their bright yellow uniforms, because you know, they don’t stand out enough as it is.

It was just the nicest day out to be sitting in the stands sipping on some makali with some good people.

After we went to Nino’s place and hung out in front of the Family Mart variety store drinking some beer and makali, scaring school kids as they walk by staring wideeyed at us…well them.  They thought I was Korean.

Then we went for some amaaaaaazing ribs.

Later, played, what I feel, was one of my best sets at the Waegook to a more attentive than usual audience.  Even played songs with Brandon.

Hilights:

- trying Justin’s motorcycle. It wasn’t that difficult!  if you can drive stick, it’s much easier to understand.

- The guys who were supposed to paint the lines for the soccer field showed up during the last quarter of the last game…and started anyways.  Even did the goaltenders box.  Funny photo ops.  HOpefully I’ll get some off a friend.

- Make a beer run to the store on my scooter…in a T-shirt! Warm weatherrrr.

- Sunshine.

- Drinking 1.50 wine with our ribs.

- Playing the solo to Buddy Holly for an astonishingly quiet audience.

- Successfully executing the Aristocrats joke without anyone realizing what the fuck it was.

- Being called ‘the funniest guy I’ve met in Korea’.

And now I’m heading out because it’s another beautiful day, and I ran out of clean underwear.
