Routine Begins to settle in

So things have started to get busier at work. We’ve got more supplies so we’ve been preparing admission testing and flashcards and such. I also did a rehearsal Phonics class. Saying ‘Buh, Buh, Bus; Buh, Buh, Bat; gets kinda boring quick. I hope things are better when I have real kids, and not invisible ones.

My cousin came in from Seoul today too. He has his own company just outside of Seoul. They’re one of few companies in a multi-billion dollar industry that have a patented method for dry-etching microchips using magnetically created Plasma….or something. He really wanted me to come work for him, but I wanted to do this and he was cool with it. I’m not sure how I would’ve fit into his company anyways not being an Engineering major and all.

This Friday night I hope to goto Seoul, buy a guitar, meet some more relatives and maybe hook up with some folks from training. Emily-Jane will be in Seoul this weekend too at some special dinner thing, so I may or may not see her too.

I’m really beginning to settle in to a routine finally. I just need to start jogging and fitting in some Korean language studying time, and make a few more key purchases: a desk; guitar (as mentioned); a good chair, b/c this fucking thing is just too small. I practically need one for each butt cheek; I also need to get a step-up voltage convertor. The only one of my computer components that doesn’t have a 110-240 voltage adapter is my sound card, which is pretty important for recording and watching movies.

Yesterday alone, I downloaded Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, which is the first part of 3 revenge movies by the guy who did OldBoy, Park Chun-woo; I also downloaded ‘Three… Extremes’ which is a trilogy of short revenge/horror movies, one of which the same Park Chun-woo is involved. Three directors, three languages: Chinese, japanese and Korean. And finally, I downloaded Dogtown and the Z-boys, the doc which ‘Lords of Dogtown’ is based on.

Next I shall download March of the Penguins and C.R.A.Z.Y..

And finally, you may or most likely not have noticed my site has changed yet again. www.jasonjang.com has design ADD, and I have decided to redo my site for a number reasons which I will go into detail about in the near future.

For now, check out the new home page. Next step, redesign this BLOG.

March of the Penguins will remind you of mom and dad. Saw it on the plane coming home from Vegas. I’m so happy you got see Ghee yun-ee hyung-ah again and are going to see Kun-Jagun Apa, the you other Hyungs. Kun jagun apa, is the younger yet harder core version of dad, lol, it’ll trip you out, but I think he’ll be tripped out by how much you are a huger version of dad, hahaha! Try to add those things you want into your regiment.
Love O.H. (Original Hyung)

Thats awesome that you’re having a kick-ass time so far in Korea. I’ve always wanted to go for a while, either to Korea to drink some soju and check the place out, or to Japan and buy robots to smite my enemies.

If you’re helping teach english you should teach some fake north american slang. Tell them if something is cool its called “Farrs” (Dude that’s Farrs!) and if you like something alot to loudly exclaim “Jigga!”.

I actually use Jigga, but it hasn’t caught on yet… I’ll let you know if it does. ;)
